calmer-sort of
Its awfully nice but why do they call it Calmer anyway?
This is what Jamal and I are wondering.
But anyway, the time was nigh for the Calmer because I have a job interview tomorrow. And thus am feeling slightly rattled. So it was rather relaxing to go see the nice ladies at Arcadia Knitting yesterday afternoon, on my way over to Marcel's.
Pretty, pretty Calmer. It actually is more pink than red. The first Chickami came out so nice I decided to make another.
Oh yeah. I said job interview. Ok?
Don't congratulate me just yet because its at the End of the Earth. Yes, the darkest heart of hellish suburbia, thus tomorrow I will be the lone pedestrian freak navigating acres of parking lots, believe me, I've seen it before. You get off the bus (which only freaks ride the bus in suburbia) and then maybe a bus will come to take you back to civilization in a few hours or so. Or maybe not. Maybe you get to sit and watch cars go by and contemplate global warming and the demise of polar bears and melting glaciers and rising ocean temperatures, for some time until you think you are going to lose your mind.
Oh, its such a bad idea, but I've resigned to going because it is an opportunity to get a cubicle of one's own.
And hey, that's a lot better than food service.
I really don't mean to be so cranky, really.
Ok, I'll stop now.

You should move to Canadada or Europe, where they treat citizens like human beings instead of wage slaves. Well, I guess it's snot so easy...uh...sorry about that!
