Agnes! Plus a short, sordid tale of handwarmers and biking
Here are the pieces of Agnes, minus half of one sleeve, which is all I have left to complete before sewing.
They're a little bit curly, but you get the idea!
And plus, here is the mate to a handwarmer I did last year, which some of you may remember and which had been single until Friday. The mate is a slightly different design, with experimental picot edge and plus the bonus thumb-warmer extension. I'm digging the new design. Its a little bit worse for wear as happens if you catch yourself on your palm, while abruptly hitting the pavement on Clark street, from your bike, of a Friday night! In front of at least one witness to the dorkiness! Who was thankfully tall and obvious enough to block oncoming cars! And polite enough not to laugh too much! Oh what a sordid tale! More about that later! Anyway, you can't tell from this view~
It is made from Blue Sky Alpacas whatever-its-called alpaca stuff, and is very soft and warm!
