Dawg sittin day 2
Oh, I'd almost forgotten how wonderful it is having a dawg! Marcel and I are having a great time so far. We've gone to the park at least 4 times and I've only been here overnight. Last night at around 8:30 we went and watched men playing soccer by moonlight. Then this morning, after our walk and Marcel's dinner, I took my coffee and we sat in the garden. Marcel trolled around in the plants a little bit, and then assumed his usual favorite spot on my lap, eyes half-closed, nose uplifted and snuffling in the breeze.
John has a neighbor named Venus. Marcel ran up the front stairs of Venus's house this morning, and would probably have gone right in the open front door and made himself at home if he hadn't been on a leash. Here's the thing- he loves all people! Its true! Anyway, Venus and her kids were going out the door, on their way to school, but stopped to pat Marcel and introduce everyone. Venus was certain that Marcel wanted in because he smelled that she was cooking spaghetti sauce. Truly, he will run into any open door that promises adoring human contact and possibly a nice couch, but I didn't try to explain.
In a certain way I think it could be really cool to be named Venus.
We also visited Lucy and got big slobbery wet Dawg Kisses.
Oh yeah.
