humbug
Whoa. Here is an excellent Holiday Greeting Card, verbal antidote to the musical holiday swill I have been forced to listen to at work. Really, I hate to appear embittered. But on Saturday I heard Burl Ives' Have A Holly Jolly Christmas three times. And don't even let me get started on Celine Dion doing Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. Interspersed with commercials telling me I should unwrap a brand new Jaguar (JAG-u-r!) this Xmas.
Particularly irksome also is a version of John Lennon's Happy Christmas/War Is Over which leaves out the War Is Over part. Oh yes. Its out there!

JAG-u-r advertising's faux-British diction grew even more annoying to me when I learned that Jaguar was bought by Ford a couple years ago.

To get into the holiday spirit I sodomized my neighbor with a cross and took his stuff, then wept at pictures of starving orphans on the TV.
